Ingredients

  • Plain flour 3 cups
  • Milk 1 cup
  • Instant yeast 1 tbsp
  • Butter 85 gms
  • Egg 1 unit
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Sugar 1 tbsp
  • Milk and whole egg
  • Minced beef 750 gms
  • Onion powder 1 tsp
  • Garlic clove (chopped) 1 unit
  • Dried thyme 2 tbsp
  • Shangrila Worcestershire Sauce 2 tbsp
  • Black pepper (crushed) 8-9 pcs
  • Onion (chopped) 2 units
  • Fresh coriander (chopped) ½ bunch
  • Oil for frying
  • Cheddar Cheese 100 gms
  • Mozzarella Cheese 100 gms (grated, 1 packet each)
  • Mayonnaise ½ cup
  • Shangrila Pizza Sauce ¼ cup
  • Yellow mustard ¼ cup
  • Shangrila Vinegar 2-3 tbsp
  • Shangrila Pizza Sauce for brushing

Method

  1. Add plain flour, instant yeast, sugar, salt, milk, and egg and mix well. When everything is mixed together, knead it for 10 minutes using the heel of your palm till it gets smooth. Oil it, keep it in greased bowl, cover and leave it until it doubles in volume.
  2. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Remove the dough from the bowl. Knead it again, divide it into small balls and arrange it in a 9*9 inch greased pan. Now cover and leave it to rise.
  3. Take milk and 1 whole egg and mix it well. Brush the buns with the mixture, and put the buns into the oven till golden from the top. Remove and bring it to room temperature. Cover and store.
  4. To make slider sauce, mix mayonnaise, Pizza Sauce, Yellow Mustard, and Vinegar. Then mix onion powder, finely chopped garlic, fresh coriander, chopped onion, mixed herbs, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix it all together and leave it for 35 mins.
  5. Make small patties. Heat some oil in the pan and fry meat patties till golden in colour. Now cut the sliders and place them over aluminium foil. Spread Pizza Sauce and some grated cheese over it, then place the patty and drizzle prepared sauce and grated cheese. Close the sliders, pack them tightly, and place them into the oven at 170°C for 12-15 mins.
  6. Once the slider patties are ready, remove them from the oven, and serve with potato fries.

Tip: Homemade buns stay fresher for longer, as compared to buns available at shops. Keep slider buns 24 hours at room temperature, then you may freeze them for 2 weeks.
