Ingredients

  • Cumin
  • Ginger
  • Cinnamon
  • Garlic
  • Turmeric
  • Pepper
  • Mung Dal
  • Cloves

Method

  1. Take a pan and add a teaspoon of cumin seeds, black pepper, turmeric powder, and mung dal. Add 2 cloves, a piece of cinnamon, one inch of ginger and 6 cloves of garlic.
  2. Add 1200 ml water.
  3. Cook for 45 minutes on medium flame.
  4. Cover the pan with a lid while boiling.
  5. After the steam has been released, gently mash the garlic and the daal.
  6. Serve warm with a teaspoon of honey.
