After the huge success of the Karachi edition of Cooking Icon by Shangrila—led by the legendary Chef Shireen Anwar—Shangrila Foods brought the culinary excitement to Lahore, hosting a power-packed two-day cooking class that combined expert recipes, influencer interaction, and flavor-filled learning.

The Cooking Icon – Exclusive Cooking Class was held at Dolmen Mall, Lahore on May 30th and 31st, 2025, with over 150 enthusiastic participants joining each day. Taking place from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, this females-only event was designed to promote trial generation, product usage, and culinary confidence through hands-on demonstrations and tastings.

Leading the sessions was the talented Chef Mahnoor Malik, known for her dynamic presence and flavorful recipes. She was joined by Lahore’s top Instagram food influencers—Amal Usman, Mahnoor Waheed (Lahore_Food), Hamna Sheikh, and Amber Ali—who brought their own charm to the stage, engaging with the audience and recreating the chef’s recipes live.

Designed to showcase the versatility of Shangrila Signature Sauces, the event featured five crowd-pleasing recipes:

  • Beef Chapli Kebabs with Shangrila Steak Sauce & Shangrila Smoky BBQ Sauce
  • Mutton Pasta featuring Shangrila Peri Peri Garlic Sauce
  • Shangrila-Style Peri Peri Chicken made with Shangrila Peri Peri Lemon & Herb Sauce
  • Beef Burgers elevated with Shangrila Classic Mustard & Shangrila Smoky BBQ Sauce
  • Mutton Quesadillas using bold Shangrila Chipotle Sauce

The first three dishes were prepared exclusively by Chef Mahnoor Malik, while the last two were recreated by the influencers, allowing for a hands-on experience that resonated with the live audience.

To make the experience even more rewarding, every participant received a Shangrila goody bag featuring Tomato Ketchup, Garlic Chilli Sauce, and 2 Smile Juices.

Meanwhile, Chef Mahnoor and the influencers were gifted Signature Sauce Boxes including 2 Peri Peri Sauces, and one each of Chipotle, Buffalo, and Steak Sauce—a flavorful token of appreciation.

The event concluded with a complimentary dinner at the Dolmen Mall food court, allowing participants to unwind and share their favorite moments from the day.
