Ingredients

Fajita Rice

  • 250 grams boneless chicken (cut in cubes)
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tsp garlic
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp crushed red chili
  • 1 tsp paprika powder or to taste
  • ¼ tsp mixed herbs
  • 2 tbsp shangrila soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp shangrila vinegar
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 small sized onion
  • 1 capsicum
  • 1 – 2 tbsp shangrila chili garlic sauce
  • 2 cups boiled white rice as required

Method

  1. Take the chicken cubes & place them in a bowl. Add salt, garlic, black pepper, crushed red chilli, mixed herbs, paprika powder, soy sauce, and vinegar. Mix well to marinate the chicken properly. Let the marinated chicken sit for 30 minutes at least. In a frying pan add oil and onion, fry the onion until they turn translucent. Add marinated chicken & stir continuously on high flame for 1-2 minutes. Cover and cook on low flame until the chicken is done. Add capsicum and chilli garlic sauce and mix. Cook it on high to medium flame for a minute. Add the boiled rice to the frying pan & mix well so that they’re covered with flavor. Dish out & serve hot.
