Ingredients
- Chicken breast (chopped) 1 piece
- Salt ½ tsp
- Black pepper ½ tsp
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
- Puff pastry ½ kg
- Capsicum (chopped) 1 unit
- Onion (chopped) 1 unit
- Shangrila Pizza Sauce 4-6 tbsp
- Egg (for brushing) 1 unit
Method
- Begin by cutting the chicken into small cube-like pieces and adding them to a pan. Add some oil and stir the chicken. Add in some ginger garlic paste, salt and black pepper and keep stirring. Then add onion, capsicum and sauté. Once the chicken is cooked, add pizza sauce and mix well. Take it off the stove and let it cool.
- To make the tarts, roll out puff pastry dough on a floured surface. Make it thin and flat, then cut circular pieces big enough to fit in patty tins. Add a tablespoon of chicken mixture to each cut out. Then cut a few circles of puff pastry smaller than the base size and put on top, brush with egg and bake at 200°C for 10-15 minutes.
- Once the tarts are ready, take them out of the oven and serve them with any dip sauce of your liking. Voila! Your Chicken Pizza Tarts are ready.
