Ingredients
- Lamb chops ½ kg
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
- Salt 1 tsp
- Black pepper (crushed) 1 tsp
- Red pepper (crushed) ½ tsp
- Yogurt 4 tbs
- Lemon Juice 2 tbs.
- Hot Habanero Sauce 4 tbs
- Vinegar 2 tbs
- Mashed potatoes to serve
- Water 2 cups
- Green onion for garnish
- Oil ¼ cup
Method
- Before we dive into the steps, let’s learn a bit about Lamb chops. There are two most popular lamb chops: Loin chops and rib chops. These cuts are easier and quicker to cook.
- Take a bowl, add yogurt and mix salt, lemon juice, pepper (red and black), and ginger garlic paste to prepare the marination. Dip the chops in the marinade and cover them completely. Set it aside and let it sit for 2 hours.
- Once the lamb chops are marinated, add 2 cups of water in a pan and cook until the chops are tender and dry. Add ¼ cup oil and fry chops for 5 mins. Alternatively, grill the chops by brushing a thin layer of oil or butter.
- Once the chops are brown and ready, garnish them with green onion and lemon, and serve them with mashed potatoes.
