Ingredients
- Cumin
- Ginger
- Cinnamon
- Garlic
- Turmeric
- Pepper
- Mung Dal
- Cloves
Method
- Take a pan and add a teaspoon of cumin seeds, black pepper, turmeric powder, and mung dal. Add 2 cloves, a piece of cinnamon, one inch of ginger and 6 cloves of garlic.
- Add 1200 ml water.
- Cook for 45 minutes on medium flame.
- Cover the pan with a lid while boiling.
- After the steam has been released, gently mash the garlic and the daal.
- Serve warm with a teaspoon of honey.
