Method
- Preparations : We begin by preheating the oven to 200 degrees C. Take 12 muffin cups and grease them with butter, or line the cups with paper muffin liners.
- Making the dry and wet mixtures : While the oven is preheating, take a bowl and add flour to it. Add baking powder, baking soda, salt, and pumpkin pie spice, whisk it together and set aside. Combine all sugars, oil, applesauce, pumpkin, buttermilk, and beaten eggs and blend them well. Once the wet mixture is ready, pour the pumpkin mixture and mix it.
- Baking the Muffins : You’ll need a muffin pan for baking. Pour the batter into the muffin pan and divide it evenly. Place the pan in the oven and wait for 15 to 20 minutes. To check whether the muffins are ready or not, insert a toothpick in a muffin and see if it comes out clean. If it doesn’t, wait for another 5 minutes. Once the muffins are ready, set them aside to cool off. Remove the muffins and serve with whip cream or chocolate sprinkles.
